Harsh Garg is the Founder and Head Chef of Nostimo Hospitality & Consulting (NHC) and the creative force behind Boomburger, one of Mumbai’s most exciting gourmet burger brands. With a deep-rooted passion for food and a strong background in kitchen development, menu design, and team training, Harsh has played a pivotal role in shaping India’s evolving culinary landscape.
Born and raised in Singapore in a vegetarian household, Harsh’s love for food was nurtured by his parents, who encouraged him to explore global cuisines during their travels across Asia. His culinary journey began unexpectedly when he cooked his first meal while studying in the United States. Though he pursued a B.A. in Economics, his growing fascination with the kitchen led him to change career paths. He earned a CTH Level 2 Diploma in Culinary Skills from Palate Culinary Academy, UK, formalising his entry into the world of food.
After a brief stint in finance, Harsh founded NHC in 2013, helping restaurants, cafés, and cloud kitchens including Bagel Shop and Izumi, set up successful operations. But it was during the 2020 pandemic that his most ambitious project took shape: Boomburger.
Boomburger was born out of a desire to break away from generic fast food and reintroduce excitement into the burger space. Focused on globally inspired flavours and premium, high-quality ingredients, the brand offers inventive creations that blend culinary tradition with innovation. From reimagined classics to bold, experimental flavours not seen before in India, each burger is crafted to spark joy and conversation.
With Boomburger, Harsh isn’t just flipping patties; he’s redefining what a burger can be. His mission is clear: to reignite India’s love for burgers through food that’s honest, flavourful, and unforgettable.


From Paris to Bangkok, every Boomburger is inspired by a dish that is cherished around the world – think Boeuf Bourguignon in a bun, Masala Dosa turned into a patty, or Thai Green Curry Chicken layered between perfectly grilled buns. The menu is beyond imagination – a mix of indulgent signatures and vegetarian innovations, all made with globally sourced, high-quality ingredients.
Since launching in January 2023 via Zomato and Swiggy, Boomburger has built a loyal following in Mumbai and is now gearing up to expand across Tier 1 and 2 cities. With its globally inspired menu and Harsh’s clear passion for flavour, the brand is creating a new way for people to experience burgers in India.
