Barilla, the world’s leading Italian pasta producer, will proudly host the Barilla Pasta Championship Asia 2025 – India Local Final on 2nd July 2025, Wednesday at Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa, Goa. This exciting event will bring together six exceptional chefs from across India who will compete in a vibrant display of their craft in Italian gastronomy. The finalists include Pradeep Singh from Prego (New Delhi), Sohan Patil from Paper Moon (Goa), Michael Raj from 080 International Airport Lounge, T2 (Bengaluru), Giuseppe Mandarandoni from Pinocchio Restaurant (Bengaluru), Somya Loomba from JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa (Bengaluru), and Gargi Adhikary from Kokum Kitchen (Goa). Each chef will prepare a signature pasta dish within a 45-minute time limit, showcasing their culinary mastery and creativity.

The distinguished judging panel—Chef Andrea Tranchero (Barilla – Executive Chef, APAC), Chef Ranjeet Pandey (Holiday Inn Resort, Goa – Director Food Production), and Odette Mascarenhas (Goa Culinary Club – President) —will evaluate the dishes live, providing expert commentary and insights.

The winner of Pasta Championship Asia 2025 – India Local Finals on 2nd July 2025 will earn the honor of representing India at the Asia Grand Finale this November, where they will compete against top chefs from Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Greater China region for the – Barilla Pasta Championship Asia Final Champion title and an exclusive culinary experience in Parma, Italy.
